Not too bad

Hey, only one month gone by and I'm back blogging - not too bad! A lot has happened in the last month as far as the boys are concerned - they are now on the move! Eeek. But first, here's a picture I meant to put on last month. Michaela got to ice and put shapes on to cupcakes at our friend Alice's house. She loved it so much and even decided which cupcakes were for each person.
And here's a few pictures of Isaiah playing with the puzzles. Both Isaiah and Alex love moving to the table to pull the puzzles off the shelf so they can play with them. I think it was the desire to get the puzzles that got them moving. They can pull themselves along with their arms, with a little help from kicking legs, to get to wherever they want to go.

And poor Alex managed to get himself someplace he didn't want to go! Here he is stuck underneath their swing.
And finally, on the 7th of April, Alex sat up unaided for a very long time. The boys spend so much time on their backs and bellies, that they learned to move before we could trust them to sit. We still don't leave Isaiah sitting on his own because he always seems to launch himself backwards, but we can now trust Alex to sit alone.
And here's Michaela with her troll feet! Just joking, Daddy managed to get a photo making them look huge. But she is playing her matching pairs game on her camera, which she loves.
And out on the trike for the first time this year. April brought good weather our way, so we've been trying to make the most of it. Yes, this is good weather, even though she's got her winter jacket and hat on!
The next few pictures are of the boys on 12 April - 7 months today. Isaiah left, Alex right.
Alex playing in Michaela's activity centre. The boys actually play with it much better than she ever did - they make use of all the toys on it instead of just a few.
And Isaiah sleeping on the floor.
Michaela feeding Alex his bottle just before bed.
In April, Michaela's best pal Owen and his Mommy moved away. We're going to miss them loads as we always just assumed Michaela and Owen would grow up together. :( But before he left, Owen had a party at toddlers and here's Michaela with the aftermath on her face!
As I said before, the boys have learned they can get wherever they want to now. Their little toys are kept in a basket on a shelf near the sitting room door, and they now know they can pull themselves over to it and keep pulling on it until it falls down. The results are seen below. Here's Alex.
And here's Isaiah top and Alex bottom.
And our little mover Isaiah decided to make his way all around the sitting room, not just the usual direct line to the toys. He even had to move the ring out of his way! See how proud he is of himself.
The horses have come back to the park next to our house. So Michaela tells everyone they're her horses. And here she is getting to pet one, with a little help. And for those of you that don't know how close Granny lives, this is Michaela standing in our garden and Granny's house is the one that you can only just see with the red roof to the left of the picture (her fence is the brown one you can see).
We're really looking forward to summer and have managed to play outside a bit during April. We've now got a few garden toys for Michaela to play with (slide, trampoline and sand table) and are just on the look out for a large picnic blanket so the boys can play outside too.
