HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year to you all. Hope you have a great 2007!

Here's Michaela on New Year's day. She's wearing her new outfit from Auntie Ivanna - doesn't red suit her? And it was her first time trying finger foods - it was a baby rice cake. To begin with, she was just playing with it, so Mom had to put it into her mouth and then she understood she could eat it. She managed about half of it, so maybe next time we can try cheese or carrots or something.

We had a fantastic festive season. Christmas day was the best day of Michaela's life so far! She loved the opening of the presents and sat there happy all day long while the rest of us opened presents, ate and sat around being stuffed! She really was the perfect little angel on Christmas day.

Now that's over, the next big thing will be Mom, Granny Up-by and Michaela's trip to America. Mom's already thinking about what to pack and where, but hasn't started yet. Michaela's pal Cerys just got back from Canada at the weekend, so Mom has been quizzing her mom on what to pack, how the travel was, etc. Cerys got on well, so here's hoping Michaela will too.
